Early Christmas Gift List Ideas

I don’t know about you, but I feel like Christmas is coming way too fast. I have actually started doing some Christmas shopping so that I will be prepared and save money while at it. Here are some of my ideas and upcoming purchases:

Yankee Candle is currently offering $10 off of a $25 purchase with coupon code AUG11.
There are some great gift sets in the Sale section for $5 and $10. The Strawberry basket set looks perfect!

Girl Teenager
My niece is like most teenage girls out there today. They LOVE Bath and Body Works. Right now Bath and Body is offering a Summer VIP bag* for only $20 with a $30 purchase. There is over $75 worth of product in the bag. Also, right now Bath and Body is offering the 5 for 3 on the lotions and shower gels. So, grab 5 lotions/gels for around $30 and score the VIP bag for $20. Try and pair the lotions and shower gel fragrances and you will create even more gift sets. Or grab the hand soaps. I did that one year, made gift sets with the nice hand soap and a pretty hand towel. Either way, you don’t want to miss this. You can purchase in the store or online. This is a must, must, must for me.
*Our exclusive 2011 Summer V.I.P Bag features 11 Very Impressive Products! Includes a full-size Shower Gel (10 oz.), Body Lotion (8 oz.) and Fragrance Mist (8 oz.) in Coconut Passionfruit, a full-size Anti-Bac Gentle Foaming Hand Soap (8 oz.) in Guava Grapefruit, a Cotton Candy Lip Gloss, a True Blue Mini Hand Lotion, a Scentportable in Pink Sangria, a pink Gauze Sponge, a Mini Candle in Salty Carmel and a purple 4 Ever PocketBac with matching holder!

All You Magazine

All You Magazine Subscription for only .40/issue

You don’t want to miss out on this one. Right now, you can receive 12 issues of All You magazine for only $4.78. If you haven’t heard of All You I recommend you check it out. It features great articles on finance and home organization, but most of all it includes numerous coupons each month. Well worth the money. I took advantage of this offer a couple months ago and love it.

Here’s how you get the discounts. When you create an account through Ebates, which I mentioned to you earlier, you automatically get a $5 credit OR a $10 gift card to the store of your choice (Target, etc). Also, by shopping through ebates, offers 26% ($5.19) back from the price. Then there is a promo code right now in for $5 off (XMASINJULY).

Log in to Ebates.
While in Ebates search for This will open a new window browser but you will still be processing through ebates.
Select All You magazine (you may have to do a search for this as well).
Check out as normal and enter promo code XMASINJULY at checkout.
You will pay 14.97. In a couple of weeks ebates will mail you a check for the 10.19 (5 new member and 5.19 for 26% back).

Tub O'Towels Free Sample

Ladies, this one might be for the men in our lives.

These appear to be heavy duty towels.  Just fill out a simple form with name and address to receive your free sample.  I requested mine.  I know my husband gets tired of seeing all the free samples of girly shampoo and feminine products coming through the mail.  Now, here is one for him.

Hot! Loreal Hair Care for .99 at Walgreens Week of 7/24

Quack, Quack! Hot deal! Next week, July 24-30, Walgreens will have the Loreal hair care products on sale for 5.99. Combine that with the $2 manufacturer coupon and the $3 Register Rewards received, equals .99 hair care! These are excellent products. My stylist recommends the sulfate-free shampoos. Plus the EverSleek line includes essential oils that make your hair super soft and helps calm down those tiny little fly-aways.

Deal BreakDown:
Loreal Hair Care Product 5.99 sale price
-2.00 Manufacturer coupon here Select special offers at the top. Grab $2 coupon.
(Be sure to hit the back button and print the coupon twice!)

Out of Pocket 3.99 plus tax
Receive $3 in Register Rewards to be used on a future purchase.
Final Price: .99 each

Keep in mind the Register Rewards will only print one per transaction. So, if you would like to score a couple to stock up on, be sure to do them in separate transactions. Also, Walgreens policy does not allow you to use Register Rewards (RR) on the same product that produced the RR. So save them up and I’ll be posting some other deals you may consider using them on.

I'm Back and Great Info

Ok, so I have been absent from the blog for awhile.  I am sure you all can relate.  Working full-time, coming home taking care of the family as well as keeping up with my Etsy shop is quite time consuming.

It is difficult to keep my Ducks In A Row sometimes.  Hee, hee.  But, I wanted to share with you my new obsession passion.  Extreme Couponing!  I am going to start sharing with you great finds I discover along the way.  Let's save money together!

The first one I wanted to share is Ebates
Don't be weary, I was at first but took the leap of faith and well worth it.  I used it to get deep discounted magazines.  All you do is create an account in Ebates.  Then browse the many shops that you normally shop at online.  Walmart, ToysRUs, JCPenney, and numerous other stores. All new members receive a $5 instant credit in their account.  For each purchase you will receive cash back.  At the end of each quarter you can choose to have your money mailed to you in the form of a check or deposited directly into a paypal account.  It does work, I received my first check just last week.

I plan on doing lots of Christmas shopping this way to save even more money.  Be sure to check it out.  Don't hesitate to drop me a note if you have any questions along the way.

By the way, it is good to be back.
